It's another one for the theater nerds, especially the techies! "Drama" is an immensely popular graphic novel that is cheerful and affirming and normalizes queer representation. Book cover for "The prince and the dressmaker"
Star rating for The prince and the dressmaker
Average Rating:
4.1 stars
Notes:
This is the cutest graphic novel I have read. One of the main characters is nonbinary, and while there is romance, the majority of the narrative focuses on their intense, budding friendship. This friendship is not without issues, but those are discussed and resolved, and lead to extremely rewarding character growth. This setting is a little fantastical, but may also be considered a period piece. The art style is refreshing and colorful.
